Sam May, BA, BSc, LicAc, MBAcC, is an experienced Acupuncturist and Meditation Teacher, currently practicing and teaching in the Bristol area.
Sam is a fully insured member of the British Acupuncture Council, and as such is committed to working to a set of professional guidelines and adhering to strict clinical hygiene standards. He is also a Regional Support Tutor for the College of Integrated Chinese Medicine, and is currently serving as Chair of the Acupuncture Fertility Network.
Sam studied Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine (including Qi Gong) for four years at the internationally renowned College of Integrated Chinese Medicine, studying for a BSc(Hons) and Licentiate of Acupuncture (LicAc) which combines the Five Element approach to acupuncture with Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). He is also a certified auricular acupuncturist, having completed a training with Acudetox Plus UK. He has also completed trainings in Tibetan Massage and Ayurvedic Foot Reflexology in India.
Sam has been teaching Meditation for over 20 years, in both traditional and clinical settings. He is the author of '15-Minute Meditation for Health & Wellbeing'. In addition to his BSc degree in Chinese Medicine, Sam holds a BA degree in Philosophy and also works as a health consultant for complementary and alternative medicine.
